James Mason says:

Gun videos are always 5 times longer than they should be

Vapor Trails says:

I cant believe you actually thought any of the calibers would even slow down through cast iron.

Jory Bates says:

The 30-30 is gonna bounce off

hackberry flat says:

No need to worry; no deer, elk, or moose have fingers, so they can't button cast iron, or Kevlar, jackets. You've ruined three good skillets.

Donald Smith says:

I would be curious to see the pieces. Do they have bullet holes in them or did the bullet penetrate the first skillet then push the inch round piece of the middle skillet and then push out the third skillet hole. I suspect the first skillet was penetrated then the bullets smashed on the middle skillet and pushed through the pieces of the middle and last skillet.

david koch says:

at what distance ???

Harald Siegwarth says:

Shooting at what distance?

Johnny Vaughn says:

,3006 is stronger

Russell Phone Andy says:

The holes are probably partially created by bullet expansion but more so probably by spalling of the cast iron pan. (Someone may have mentioned that but a quick search of the comments didn't turn it up.)

Wes Pace says:

Many years ago would would settle whose shot gun shot the hardest by shooting sears and roebucks catalogs. Largest page number the hardest shotgun.

papster says:

Very interesting video. What was the distance to the skillets? I was surprised to see how well the 30-30 did.

William Lewis says:

I say 30-30 goes through. One

Carlo Marchese says:

very cool, thanks

Jason Wills says:

razony says:

I do have to say, they sure don't look like the same skillets my gramma use to use!

Dennis Sutton says:

All three are devastating, 308 less weight when carrying 240 rds for combat.

yank mcruff says:

anyone would be dead

Sergio Martinez says:

So much for eggs over easy…lol

AUSMINT says:

People should realise that tests like this don't have to prove anything, just that shooting is a fun pastime. I loved your 30-30, I've owned a couple of them here in Australia. But not with wood as nice as yours.Cast iron is weird stuff, like compressed metal powder and this is probably why the exit holes just got bigger. You can use those pans now on the campfire and the fat off your steak can drain away. Very healthy! You are probably one of only about five men I've heard of in 40 years of shooting that actually admits to flinching. We've all done it at some stage, but it takes a tough man to admit it. Wimps don't admit to flinching, they just don't actually shoot. They just spend their time posting stupid comments. I enjoyed your video.

Saxon says:

It's a well known fact that the 30-06 has brought down every known large skillet on the face of the earth. Or was that every large game animal???

Mike Ratkowski says:

Cool test let’s do it with handguns
